As part of your scholarship application, you must submit a video essay. To ensure a smooth submission process, we strongly encourage you to plan ahead and account for any potential technology challenges. Avoid waiting until the deadline to complete your application, as this will give you ample time to address any unforeseen issues.

Please Note:

Applicants must be at least one year removed from high school by the time of the application deadline, attending a local college, and be a current Strata Networks member.

Applications must be accompanied by the following.
- A college transcript, if currently attending.
- Two letters of recommendation from an educator, advisor, or employer (if applicable).
- List of other scholarships/grants or financial aid received.
- A video essay that covers the following:
  - A brief description of your higher education and future career plans.
  - An explanation of how your field of study will contribute to the telecommunications industry and enhance rural development over the next 10 years.
- A recent high-resolution photo of the applicant.
